CHURCH VIEW STABLE COTTAGES consists of six pretty converted/new stables cottages set in the heart of our beautiful North Norfolk village.
The semi-detached and detached stables and cottages have been renovated/built to a very high standard to offer stylish accommodation, the backdrop of the cottages is the imposing village church. Set centrally in the village of Worstead home of the Worstead festival every summer.
With miles of country lanes to explore the properties offer an excellent base with local attractions including; Wroxham - the capital of the Norfolk Broads and National Trust properties can be found at Blickling and Felbrigg, Bewilderwood children’s adventure centre and the North Norfolk Steam Railway are both close by at Sheringham. Take a trip to Cromer for the end of the pier show, or head to Great Yarmouth to experience all the thrills of the funfair. Further afield you have the city of Norwich home to two Cathedrals and a castle along with many museums, shops and amazing places to eat.
Worstead has its own train station allowing easy quick access to Norwich and the North Norfolk Coast. No trip to Norfolk would be complete without a trip to the coast, visit Horsey to see the resident colony of seals. Several delightful walks can be taken direct from the property into the countryside. Guests are able to use the pub gardens. We regret no smoking. We regret no pets.
Parking
Free for all patrons of the White Lady pub, our restaurant, holiday cottages and our bed and breakfast.
If you are staying in one of our cottages then please feel free to park outside the relevant cottage (1-6) for loading and unloading then we would recommend you move your car to Ruin Road in the marked parking spaces alongside Cottage 4, in the spaces facing the church wall. To get to the car park, drive along Westwick Road keeping the Church to your left hand side, taking the turning on the left immediately past the church and head straight on, to the right you will see the entrance to the car park of the Queen Elizabeth village Hall, our car park is through the gates directly in front of you. Turn left in front of this village sign and our car park is directly in front of you
ONE church view STABLES
This particular single story cottage was built in August 2015 but originally dates back to 1750, it proudly sits along the church wall and offers stylish accommodation, ideal for a romantic getaway in the Norfolk countryside, close to the famous Norfolk Broads.
Information: This property can be booked with its sister property Two Church View Stables to accommodate up to 8 people. The accommodation offers two double bedrooms, towels and bed linen included. (Guests will have to bring own beach towels). There are two bathrooms a shower room on the first floor with shower and WC and a further shower room on the ground floor with shower and WC. Lounge/kitchen/diner: open-plan room with Flatscreen TV. Kitchen area with electric hob and oven, microwave, fridge and washing machine. All plates, cutlery, kitchen utensils included.

There is a large TV in the lounge area with a comfortable corner sofa to relax on after a busy day exploring. There are two bedrooms, one kingsize and a twin room. The cottage is accessed via a ramp and is all on one floor making it a perfect option for disabled guests.

FIVE CHURCH VIEW STABLES was completed in September 2018, using the original pub garden wall as the back of the cottage to ensure we conserve as much of the original style and features as possible.
This three-bedroomed cottage is built to an extremely high standard to offer stylish accommodation. The backdrop of the cottages is the imposing village church. With all modern conveniences, the property is the perfect base from which to explore Norfolk, both country coast & of course the Norfolk Broads.

SIX CHURCH VIEW STABLES is our latest property. Construction was completed in May 2021, using as much of the original pub garden wall as possible to create the back of the cottage to ensure we conserve as much of the original style and features as possible.
This new three-bedroomed cottage has been built to an extremely high standard to offer stylish accommodation. The backdrop of the cottages is the imposing village church. With all modern conveniences, the property is the perfect base from which to explore Norfolk, both country coast & of course the Norfolk Broads.
